Multi-layer protection.
From brute-force resistance to encrypted communication and a tamper sensor. Each layer works independently — that is the point of defense in depth.
Brute-force lockout
After a few wrong PIN attempts the device locks and extends the wait time. Each next try costs more time — dictionary attacks lose meaning.
Encrypted communication with the lock
Unlock commands between perrugi:palm and perrugi:brain are authenticated and encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Cryptographic keys are stored in secured memory.
Tamper sensor
Accelerometer and tamper sensor. Planned: a notification of a detected tamper event; scope to be confirmed before launch. A soda-lime glass front with ≥6H hardness.

A soda-lime glass front with ≥6H hardness. The device sits flush with the door — in aluminium, steel, wood, PVC or another material. Operating range –30 °C to +85 °C.

The Perrugi app focuses on access management — within the available features. For perrugi:palm: manage access, monitor entries, generate single-use codes. In future releases: perrugi:vocal and the rest of the family appear in the same view. We confirm the app feature scope and availability date before launch.
