Sound that says „guest at the door".

A wireless indoor chime for perrugi:palm. When a guest taps the doorbell on perrugi:palm — Perrugi:vocal plays a sound inside the home and the app simultaneously receives a push notification. Two layers, one intent: you will not miss a visitor, whether you are in the kitchen or on the other side of the world.

How it works.

Perrugi:vocal is a small piece of hardware with one role: it translates an electronic event into something you hear in the home. No screen, no interface, no app to set up. You pair it once with perrugi:palm and leave it on a shelf or on the wall.

1. Guest taps perrugi:palm

The doorbell button on perrugi:palm is built into the housing. A tap sends the event into the home.

2. Perrugi:vocal rings

Perrugi:vocal receives the signal and plays the chosen sound.

3. App notification (planned)

Planned: a parallel in-app notification and an event history. The feature scope will be confirmed before launch.

4. History in the app

Planned: every ring in the app log — time, duration, answered or not. Feature in development.

Doorbells in older homes had character. The ones from plastic housings do not. For perrugi:vocal we are preparing a palette of tones that sit well in modern interiors — uploading your own is planned.

  • Classic two-tone — a reflexive „ding-dong"
  • Gong — longer, softer, for larger spaces
  • Xylophone — three notes, fits open plans
  • Cricket — a discreet, short signal for night mode.
  • Upload your own sound (planned)
